Pastor John Burgess
Moving to Floodwood is in a sense moving back home. I was born in Minnesota but have lived away for 40 years. My journey began by serving in the military during the Vietnam War where I met my wife of 45 years Cindy. After medical school I worked as a pathologist in the Midwest for 42 years. Instead of retiring, God has moved me to “refire” by receiving pastoral training in the Lutheran Church. We are happy to have been called by Hope Lutheran Church and pray that we are a blessing to your community.
Please come join us as we gather each week to give God worship and praise as we seek ways to serve others while sharing the Good News of His Kingdom here in the Northland.
